- Ask for your seed phrase, private keys, exchange password or two-factor codes.
- Ask you to send crypto to a wallet, or to deposit funds with us so we can trade on your behalf.
- Promise you a return, a win rate or a specific profit.
- Pressure you to decide during a call.
If someone claims to be us
Scammers have posed as Niko, Chad and members of our team, including fake assistants who reach out by text or direct message. Stop the conversation, do not send money or crypto, and report it to us. We will tell you whether the account is ours.

Research us before you trust us. Crypto Renegades is run by its two named founders, Niko Mercuris and Chad Wittfeldt, from a business address in Tarpon Springs, Florida, with public reviews on Google and Trustpilot. Look up the founders, read the reviews where they were written, and use our verification page to confirm official channels. Part of what we teach is how the common crypto scams work, because scammers target people looking for an easy button, and there is none.
Crypto Renegades started about five years ago as Niko and Chad trading together on a two-person Zoom call. Since then more than 2,000 people have gone through the mastermind, more than 7,000 have joined the free Facebook group, and many more have followed the free trainings, live sessions and our scam prevention guide.
No. We never manage positions or capital on your behalf, and we will never ask you to send us crypto. You keep full control of your own accounts and make your own decisions.
No. We provide general education. We do not provide individualized financial, investment, legal or tax advice. When instructors share their own positions and reasoning inside the community, it is for teaching, and every member makes their own decisions.
Stop the conversation and do not send money or crypto. We never message people first with investment offers, and we never ask for keys, passwords or deposits. Report the account through our contact page and we will confirm whether it is ours.
