The people behind
the process.
Crypto Renegades started as a chat between two traders comparing notes. Niko Mercuris and Chad Wittfeldt turned what they learned across multiple market cycles into a structured decision process, and a community of members who use it with their own capital.

From a Facebook chat to a 6,000-member community

The chat
Two traders swapping ideas
Seven years ago it was a Facebook chat between Niko and Chad, comparing positions and the reasoning behind them.
- 02
The demand
Hundreds asked what they were doing
People kept asking how they sized positions and when they got out. Answering the same questions one person at a time stopped working.
- 03
The structure
A decision process, taught live
The answers became a sequence: thesis, loss boundary, position size, total exposure, trade plan, journal, review. Members learn it in order and bring their own decisions to live sessions.
- 04
Today
6,000+ members. $200M+ traded every month.
Combined monthly trading volume across the group passes $200 million. Every member makes their own decisions with their own capital. We never manage it for them.
Two operators. One process.

Chad Wittfeldt
Chad bought Bitcoin when it traded for a few hundred dollars, before it had been in a single newspaper. He got serious in 2017, added leverage and contracts in 2018, and built a multimillion-dollar GPU mining warehouse in 2021. He watched the first multibillion-dollar crypto frauds, BitConnect and USI-Tech among them, play out in real time. That is why so much of his teaching covers verification, risk and personal responsibility.

What we hold ourselves to
Six commitments that shape how we teach, how we talk about results, and who we accept.
Fully doxxed
Our names, faces and business address are public. Research us, read our reviews and check our history before you trust us.
Risk before reward
Every position starts with the loss we are willing to take. We set it before entry so the market never decides it for us.
Personal responsibility
We teach a process and review your reasoning. You make your own decisions with your own capital, and you own the results.
No dumb questions
Ask it like it is the first time anyone has asked. New members learn fastest when nobody is embarrassed to ask.
No income promises
We do not promise overnight results, fixed win rates or returns. Anyone who does is selling something other than education.
Open positions, open reasoning
Instructors share their positions, entries and risk inside the community so members can study the reasoning, including the losses.
